Premier Staffing Solution, a specialized staffing company focused on skilled trade and professional staffing in the manufacturing and supply chain industries, promoted Blake Barton to chief executive officer. Blake joined Premier in June 2023 as the company’s president. He will have continued and added accountability for growth, process improvement, and client satisfaction as CEO.
Former Premier CEO, Chris Ostrander, will remain vital to the business as principal and board chairman focusing on strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
“Labor challenges remain paramount for our clients,” Chris said. “Blake is uniquely equipped to lead Premier given his combination of many years of operations and staffing experience. He has displayed tremendous leadership qualities, outstanding customer relationships, and excellent business acumen since joining us last year, and I’m excited to have him step into this role.”
Blake’s career spans over 25 years managing and leading teams to success. Prior to joining Premier, Blake was part of an acquisition with GP Strategies, which resulted in him leading TTi Global – Staff Augmentation. In five years, he achieved step-change growth by revamping processes, implementing change management, and building a strong team.
Blake also spent six years as chief operating officer and partner at The Productivity Team (TPT), and prior, he served as vice president at Extended Enterprise Group. His early career days included plant supervision and supply chain development for Whirlpool Corporation, and maintenance supervision/plant management for Chrysler/FCA.
